Tools for Governance Programming
CARE International UK's Governance Team supports CARE Country Offices by providing technical assistance to improve wider development programmes. This includes facilitating political economy analysis to inform programme design, integrating governance as a key component of a programme and providing assistance with monitoring and evaluation. In addition, CARE is supporting the development of greater 'Forwards Accountability' across our global programme portfolio. This involves establishing mechanisms (e.g. hotlines and community oversight committees) that enable the communities we work with to hold us accountable.
