Our Work

Too often elite political settlements fail because they do not seek to include the views and ideas of the broader population. CARE supports local actors, particularly women, to end violence and address its root causes. CARE helps to build trust within and between communities, seeks to amplify community voices at higher decision-making levels and supports the translation of national and international policy initiatives at the local level. CARE UK coordinates a conflict community of practice to share best practise across the organisation.
