Advocacy
CARE also strives to influence policy-making at both local and global level. The governance team supports country offices to carry out sound policy analysis, strengthen their evidence base to influence policy-makers, mobilise constituencies to demand change, build coalitions with other civil society bodies to support citizens-led advocacy, influence public opinion through media campaigns, engage and lobby policy-makers to pass laws and regulations that support citizens' rights and well-being and to oversee the implementation of these policies
