CARE International Priority Positions regarding the UN Secretary General’s Post-2015 Synthesis Report

This paper summarises CARE’s position on strengths and weaknesses of the UN Secretary-General’s Synthesis Report of post-2015 sustainable development consultations to date, in relation to gender, climate change, governance and accountability.

The paper gives CARE’s position on the three Open Working Group standalone goals of (1) gender (and specifically sexual, reproductive health and rights, adolescent girls and financial inclusion), (2) climate change and (3) governance and accountability (specifically, participatory accountability and monitoring at all levels of society).
