Cristian was formerly Programme Management Coordinator at CARE International UK, working within the Programme Management Team and leading CIUK's development portfolio in Asia. He led the project management of the Enhancing Mobile Populations' Access to HIV & AIDS Services, Information and Support (EMPHASIS) project, as well as another 4 development projects funded by DFID and the EC in Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining CARE in 2012, Cristian spent several years working in the field with Medecins Sans Frontieres. He worked in insecure and emergency contexts such us Yemen, Sudan (North Darfur) and Kenya (Daddab Camp) and in more stable countries such as Zambia and Zimbabwe, assisting mobile populations. He also has management experience in the private sector.
Cristian is a qualified lawyer (Universidad de Buenos Aires), holds a master in Development Management (Westminster University) and an International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance (Fordham University, New York).
