Regina Baiden


Regina Baiden is a programme officer at the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) where she works with civil society organisations to influence policy issues through the creation of spaces, platforms and capacity strengthening opportunities. She currently supports WACSI’s partnership with CARE International on the Women on the Move Impact Growth Strategy.

Regina holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a specialisation in Gender and Development from Tufts University, Boston, as well as a Master’s in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from Michigan Technological University. Her interests include issues of sustainable development, civic space, human rights, gender, and public policy. Prior to working with WACSI, she worked with the Institute of Economic Affairs Ghana, Harvard University’s Women and Public Policy Program, International Rescue Committee, UN Women and the Ghana Revenue Authority.
