Role: Financial Inclusion Advisor (Asia)

Katherine is the Financial Inclusion Advisor for Asia at CARE International UK. With five years of microfinance experience at CARE, providing technical advice, project management support, and monitoring and knowledge management support across several financial inclusion projects in Africa and Asia, Katherine is now leading the financial inclusion strategy development for Asia.
Katherine’s programme portfolio to date includes the Banking on Change project in partnership with Barclays and Plan, the Skilling for Change project in partnership with Cherie Blair Foundation, FinLINK project in partnership with Visa, and the Job Creation Project in partnership with HiH.
Katherine has previously worked for CARE International UK as a Programmes Officer and in CARE Vietnam as Private Sector Engagement Officer. Katherine holds an MSc in International Relations from Warwick University and BA (Hons) in International Business with Spanish from Sheffield Hallam University.
