The report reveals: CARE-supported VSLAs have reached over 6.5 million members, 81% of whom are women, across 46 countries. Members of 317,335 groups of predominantly rural, poor women are collectively saving and investing over $433 million per year. Over 50,000 groups representing 1.3 million members have been supported to open bank accounts across 15 countries.
